project en-during-after

I am infatuated with the Virgin Mary. 

The smearing and smudging of my stained lips to paint with.

I wish to articulate a sensibility for the Filipina Feminine.

En-during-after is an on-going project that explores 

transformations, transitions, borders and particular 

behaviors distinguished to be Filipino.  

The project name is a reference to these themes as 

well as expressing aspects of my recent transition into motherhood.  

*Currently 200 sculptures for a wall installation multiplying at a fast rate
