click here to listenthe month i met you has been created with a digital field recording I took of a large Buddhist bell I was striking on upon my first visit to Geneva in 2006. I create many sounds from this single recording by working with different digital software and hardware to transform the sound of the bell. Working in this method and composing the soundscape with meditative and subtle narratives, repetition, distortion, stillness expresses my own personal heart sutra. While composing I recall upon my meditation experiences from day to day life as well as from living at a Buddhist temple in 2003.
